Apart from Ko-fi purchases (see section 8a), we do not collect personally identifiable information directly. However, third-party services used on this site may collect data as described below. These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-FSSHZMWVLW) to understand how visitors interact with our content. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, device type, and approximate geographic region. This data is processed by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
GA4 uses first-party cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) stored in your browser to distinguish users across sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not currently display ad-network advertising on this site, and we do not place advertising cookies. If we enable Google AdSense or another ad service in future, we will update this section before any ads appear. Third-party vendors, including Google, would then use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and you could opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. This site takes part in no affiliate programme and earns no commission from any outbound link.
Until 22 September 2026 some pages carried Amazon.ca search links under an associate tag. Those links and the associate tag were removed from every page on that date and we no longer take part in the Amazon Associates Program. The only thing sold from this site is our own study material, on Ko-fi.

This site uses your browser's localStorage to save your study streak, daily quiz progress, wrong-answer bank, mock exam history, and cookie consent preference. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
Exam countdown calendar file — The “Add my exam countdown to my calendar” button on the study planner and on each trade's practice quiz builds the calendar (.ics) file on your device from the trade and exam date you entered. The file is not uploaded, and nothing in it is sent to us or to any server. Google Analytics (section 3) records only that a calendar file was downloaded, for which trade and from which page; when you generate a plan it also records the trade and the number of days until your exam.
Our site contains links to external websites including Ko-fi and other resources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
When you purchase a digital product through our Ko-fi shop, payment is processed by Ko-fi and PayPal or Stripe under their own privacy policies; we receive your name and email address to deliver your purchase and provide support. We use this information only for order delivery, support, and (for up to two years after purchase) occasional updates about closely related study materials, which you can opt out of at any time. We do not sell or share your information. Contact us using the details below to access or delete your data.
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
